Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Veronica Lewis has been hailed by American Songwriter as “one of the most promising torchbearers of American Rock.” Today she has announced a 7-date East Coast tour in support of her latest album, Too Late For Tears, beginning June 4 in Cambridge, MA and concludes June 27 in Portsmouth, with stops in Northampton, Brooklyn, Washington, DC and Charlotte, NC.
Lewis is emerging as a distinct voice in music. Her songs live at the crossroads, carrying the raw spirit of early rock pioneers, the introspective depth of Fiona Apple, and the indie-pop shimmer of Soccer Mommy. At just 21, her sonic odyssey is part of the groundswell of female artists redefining the meaning of singer-songwriter in indie rock.
A multi-award-winning artist who reached #2 on the Billboard Blues Chart, Lewis has built a reputation for performances that balance prodigal musicianship with emotional depth. Her sound fuses roots-rock grit with ’90s alternative edges – driven by melodic guitar hooks, untamed piano work, and a voice capable of both power and restraint.
With anthem-evoking choruses, earworm melodies, luscious guitar riffs, and dreamy keys, Too Late For Tears hits with a tumult of elation and melancholy. Veronica wrote, produced, and performed all vocals, keys, guitar, synth, and bass on Too Late For Tears, an album about which she says, “is about things we all struggle with… disillusionment, self-discovery, the beauty and flaws you find in yourself, and the world around you.”
