Rising pop darling Bella Rios has released the official video for her latest single “Overthinker,” alongside the announcement of her Sophomore EP Right Now out July 25. PRESS HERE to watch and HERE to pre-save the EP.

Strolling through a cherry blossom filled Central Park and playing her guitar through the busy streets of the East Village, the new visual is an ode to iconic nineties-era music videos. The nostalgic video highlights Rios’ poignant lyrics as she transforms into the most confident and authentic version of herself – putting overthinking behind her.

Written during a pivotal phase in her life, Right Now is a timely and heartfelt collection of songs that depict the nerve-racking yet exhilarating feeling of embarking on a new chapter in life while still trying to be present in the current one. This EP is a deeply personal, raw, and honest exploration of navigating young adulthood. It’s Riosat her most vulnerable as she puts pen to paper to cathartically highlight relatable stories that include everything from relationship anxiety to reminiscing about nights out with friends. While the EP is a love letter to her college days and friendships made, it’s also a reminder to herself to stay present and appreciate every moment before it comes to an end.

Bella Rios is a Gen Z vocal powerhouse who channels her droll personality into her deeply relatable songwriting. Hailing from the vibrant city of Chicago and now based in the musical crucibles of New York City and Nashville, her musical journey began at five when she started learning classical piano. Influenced by musical greats like Queen, Fleetwood Mac, and Aerosmith, as well as icons such as Adele, P!nk, and Lady Gaga, Rios sets herself apart with her dynamic vocal performance and powerfully connective songwriting. Her debut EP Sincerely, finds the rising artist coming into her own. From pop-punk inspired anthems like lead single “Ever After,” to the heart-wrenching ballad “Walking in the Rain,” the tracks on Sincerely, are a testament to her growth as a singer-songwriter who is tackling topics like the euphoria of love, crushing lows of heartbreak and the vertigo-inducing peaks and valleys of mental health. Having just graduated from Princeton University (with a major in Economics!) and now ready to fully dive into music, Bella vibe-checks her songs with friends — if they love them or are moved by them, she knows she’s onto something. Bella’s music has landed on TIDAL’s New Arrivals & Pop: Rising playlists; on MTV’s Spankin’ New,received support from Live Nation’s Ones To Watch via their #NowWatching playlist and can be heard in the Hulu Original movie Prom Dates.
