Little Simz Announces North American ‘Lotus Tour’

On the heels of the release of her highly anticipated sixth album, Lotus, Little Simz announced her first headline U.S. tour in two years, the Lotus Tour. The North American outing, kicks off on Monday, October 27 in Toronto, ON at HISTORY, making additional stops in Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Denver, Oakland, Atlanta and more before wrapping up on Tuesday, November 18 in Los Angeles, at the Hollywood Palladium.

An inimitable live performer, Little Simz is also set to play two UK headline arena dates this autumn, at Manchester’s Co-Op Live on October 16th and London’s The O2 on October 17th.

At 13-tracks long, Lotus is an expansive and yet deeply personal project. It sees Little Simz bring her inner world onto record in her most intimate and most honest manner yet. Among an arresting musical backdrop guided by producer Miles Clinton James – which combines influences from Punk to Jazz, Soul to Samba – is a weaving of rich stories and vivid vignettes. Together, they tell an emotive story about the woman and artist Simz has become.

Lotus features an impeccably curated list of collaborators; Moses Sumney, Miraa May, Wretch 32, Cashh, Michael Kiwanuka, Yussef Dayes, Sampha, Lydia Kitto, Yukimi Nagano, Obongjayar and Moonchild Sanelly. The title itself, Lotus, embodies renewal and growth, mirroring Simz ever evolving artistry and the album’s thematic voyage through life’s intricate phases.
