Noah Hicks’ Head & Heart Are At War In His New Track “Get Enough”

Noah Hicks’ head and heart are at war in his new track “Get Enough,” out today via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. Caught in the throes of a tumultuous on again/off again relationship, he’s torn between the highs that his heart craves and the lows that make his head spin. Whenever she comes around, destruction and disruption are not far behind, and he knows in his gut that she will never be able to give him what he needs. The Georgia native’s authentic Country vocal carries through the first verse before the track erupts into a rock-forward, punchy chorus of pure electric guitar-induced catharsis booming with equal parts frustration and desperation. Written by Hicks alongside Lindsay Rimes and John Pierce, “Get Enough” surges with adrenaline, proving itself a worthy departure from Hicks’ previous work and cementing his versatility as an artist and songwriter.

“‘Get Enough’ is for anyone who keeps going back to someone they just can’t quit – even when they know better,” shares Hicks. “This one has a bit of a different sound than what fans might be used to from me, and it’s not your typical heartbreak song. I hope everyone loves this one as much as I do!”

The official music video for the track was shot in Hicks’ hometown of Carrollton, GA, and features beautiful landscape views draped in warm, golden hour light coupled with contrasting high-energy performance content. It will premiere on YouTube at 12 p.m. CT today – watch HERE.

“Get Enough” follows the release of Noah’s track “Small Town Does” earlier this summer. Building on his catalogue that includes songs like the backroads ode “Dirt Roads Dirt (ft. Justin Moore)” and the nostalgia-tinged “Nights Memories Stories,” “Small Town Does” is a more introspective addition to his growing, down home-inspired repertoire. Written by Hicks alongside Cole Taylor and Zach Abend, “Small Town Does” is a windows-down anthem that finds Hicks definitively digging his boots into the roots of the land that raised him, armed with his signature authentic Country charm and swagger. More new music is expected from Hicks later this year.

Last week, Hicks announced his headlining Small Town Does Tour presented by Peachtree Entertainment. The 16-date trek will kick off in Nashville, TN, on October 10 before continuing to cities including Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia and more, and concluding in Athens, GA, on November 5.
